It all started when I heard a knock,
Didn't know that was Cupid's shout,
I heard a second one from a door that's locked,
sounded like someone was stuck.
Stood up, opened the door, saw who was locked out
Time stopped, My heart was rocked,
I saw Venus and around her, the angels flocked.
I believed in fate and thought it was alright,
That I put fate in charge for us to meet at night.
But twice have fate didn't make it right,
So I pushed fate and did what I thought I might.
The first time I wanted to talk to her, someone interrupted me.
The second time I was about to talk to her, someone interrupted me.
The third time I saw her, I didn't let anyone interrupt me.
And the chance came, where it was just her and me.
