It all started, when our ancestors departed…
The land they grew up and in these scattered land they have ended.
Different races, different faces; found this land amongst other places.
Built an identity from different life phases.
Then fleets of ships raided and invaded,
The pre-barrio the datu’s have gated.
There on, a new era of culture was created.
'Filipinas' was the name given,
By the men who came and gave us God to believe in.
The eastern sunrise and the sunset of the west,
have long converged in a land so blessed.
Reason why we are diverse in various aspects,
From tradition, belief, food, lifestyle and dialects.
But there’s only one place we call home,
Where countless generations of conquest shaped
and where the Diyan Masalanta roams.
And after a dozen of historical decades,
We are here to present our rich heritage.
The pearl of the orient, the Sampaguita of Eden,
Cradle of the brave, strong and God fearing men and women.
Thousands of islands, Three main parts,
LuzViMinda, a country in our heart.
We offer you, a country rich in culture and tradition,
From history to religion form this formidable nation.
Filipinas, Mi patria idolatrada.
En campos de batalla, luchando con delirio,
Otros te dan sus vidas, sin dudas, sin pesar;
El sitio nada importa; cipres, laurel o lirio,
Cadalso o campo abierto, combate o cruel martirio,
Lo mismo es si lo piden La Patria y el hogar.
